Fourth game from Minecraft developer Mojang’s stable Cobalt, finally has a release date. Cobalt has long been in the making and was first scheduled to be released on 30 October 2015. It was delayed then as the game was a lot buggier than what the developer would like. The game now will finally release on 2 February. Priced at $19.99, the game is a platformer/shooter/brawler developed by Oxeye Game Studio and published by Mojang.
Cobalt, a 2D action game starring cyborgs is a side scrolling game, where Agent Cobalt can roll, slo-mo and shoot his way through an eight hour campaign. The game features single-player campaign as well as co-op multiplayer modes along with challenge and survival modes. Campaigns are filled with a lot of mini-games with players having an option to suit upgrades and top the leaderboards.
The Steam version will include Steam Workshop support too, which allows players to create their own levels and share them with players from around the world. Not only that, players who bought the game during its alpha stage will receive a Steam code for free through their Mojang account. More details on same will be shared when the game is closer to the release.
