Maxon to bring four-day interactive virtual event, 2022 ZBrush Summit

Maxon announced that they are presenting the 2022 ZBrush Summit, which will be a four-day live streaming event. The summit will be broadcasted from Mobeon Studios in Burbank and will take place from 13-16 November. This year’s event will incorporate a hybrid, mixed reality and live broadcast.

Virtual environments and other 3D elements are created and animated with Maxon One products, and will be rendered in real-time through the Unreal Engine.

“Since our acquisition of ZBrush less than a year ago, we have been so pleased to see our community growing and to be able to bring over with it a great wealth of knowledge and expertise from the ZBrush team. The recent product update saw ZBrush included in the Maxon One subscription package at no extra cost, and we hope that users who have been making the most of this addition to their toolset will be excited to demonstrate and further develop their skills through this upcoming event,” said Maxon CEO David McGavran.

The show will kick off with the annual ZBrush Sculpt-Off Challenge on 13 November (12pm to 3:30pm PST), where entrants will go head-to-head with other community members in the digital sculpting competition for a chance to win major prizes (announced live during the show). A panel of esteemed judges will determine the ‘Made In ZBrush’ challenge winners.

Open to all ZBrush users around the world, this year’s theme ‘Monuments’  will require participants to base their sculpture around one of the following category prompts: zen, bravery, rebirth, unity, strength, or honor.

Hosted by members of the ZBrush Team, the four-day virtual Summit will feature exciting announcements, as well as a series of presentations by industry leading artists who are eager to share their professional tips, tricks, and techniques with the ZBrush community.
