‘MARVEL: AUGUST 1961 Omnibus’ to have every Marvel issue since 1961

Marvel Comics fans are in for a sure treat! 

In August 1961, FANTASTIC FOUR #1 launched and ushered in a new take on superhero stories and the birth of the Silver Age Marvel Universe!

Cut to 2021, sixty years later, Marvel fanatics are set to experience the momentous month as Marvel has announced to launch MARVEL: AUGUST 1961 OMNIBUS, a complete hardcover collection of every issue that hit the shelves with FANTASTIC FOUR #1, and even the ones that were never reprinted before!

Prior to leaving the comic book industry, Stan Lee created and penned one more book exactly the way he wanted it after being persuaded by his wife Joan. Thus was created FANTASTIC FOUR #1 by Lee and Jack Kirby and the rest is history! 

It changed the American pop culture landscape for generations to come. Before the starting of Silver Age, Marvel Comics had published western, romance, comedy, monster and science fiction titles—and in August 1961, FANTASTIC FOUR was just one of over a dozen very different Marvel books. This first-of-its-kind omnibus that’ll soon be launched will include:
