Mac and Linux versions of Batman: Arkham Knight cancelled

One of the better games last year, Batman: Arkham Knight from Rocksteady Studios will not get a Mac or Linux release said Warner Bros. on game’s official account.

In its statement Warner Bros. wrote, “We are very sorry to confirm that Batman: Arkham Knight will no longer be coming to Mac and Linux. If you have pre-ordered Batman: Arkham Knight for Mac or Linux, please apply for a refund via Steam.”

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game were very well appreciated for its gritty storyline and the engrossing gameplay but the PC port was plagued right from its release and had to be taken off Steam and retailers for some time to work on the bugs and re-released but the problem with the game still problems. So Warner Bros. pulling the plug on Mac and Linux port was not a surprise.

Warner Bros. lately has been moving its focus away from PC players. Not just with sorry state of Arkham Knight or half baked Mortal Kombat X but the recently announced DLC Mortal Kombat XL did not find a PC release.
