Odissa born game streamer and gaming influencer Shagufta ‘XYAA’ Iqbal has recently partnered with Logitech G. She initiated her online gaming journey at the age of 11, and today Shagufta ‘Xyaa’ Iqbal has earned her way through the hearts of the Indian gaming community.
Pursuing a career as a senior IT professional with a comfortable job she understood that gaming is where she belongs and without any time she gave up her job and moved to Pune against her family’s wishes and became a full-time gaming influencer. She is a part of the Logitech G streamer programme and she will be representing LogitechG at online and offline gaming events, advocating their products on social media, creating content for LogitechG India handle, an hosting/participating LogitechG activities.
Shagufta currently has 200+ thousand followers on Youtube and 83+ thousand followers n Instagram and today on partnering with Logitech G she shared exclusively with Animationxpress that “I’m quite excited to partner with Logitech G. Apart from Logitech G, she has established her presence in the gaming market by working with brands such as Intel, HP, Lenovo, HyperX, MSI, Tencent Games, Ubisoft, and so on. She was earlier associated with Entity gaming but now she is an independent influencer. She plays PUBG PC and Lite, CSGO, Apex Legends, along with otherFPS/RPG games. She started online gaming with CS 1.6 in 2011and initiated her professional streaming in January 2018 on Twitch.tv but later in October 2018, she has shifted to Youtube. She has been actively participating in competitive gaming and community events, from travelling hundreds of miles to spending hours in creating video content for her fans, Shagufta has put in a lot of hours and years.
Earlier Shagufta poured her heart out about her challenges in the ecosystem as a woman game streamer, she said, “Even though the gaming industry is dominated by males, I have put my name up there with all the males! I do receive some mean comments but I just ignore and I don’t let it affect me since at the end of the day, I love gaming and nobody can stop me from doing what I love.”
Today after all the challenges she is a standing high, aiming for the peak, and with the new partnership of Logitech G epitomises the quality of content she holds and her prominent experience in the gaming ecosystem.
