India’s youngest super cop Little Singham has another feather to its cap!
In a special interaction with Little Singham, select Border Security Force (BSF) troopers posted on JCP Attari border, offered life lessons to children across the country. This has made the popular animated character to become the first of its kind to perform at Wagah border and give special musical tribute to the bravehearts.
Led by television actress Aalisha Panwar, a troupe of young dancers and the mascot of Little Singham struck an emotional chord with the audience with their adrenaline pumping performance on patriotic songs on 5 May.
BSF is a paramilitary force charged with guarding India’s land ‘border’ during peacetime and preventing transnational crime. It is a Union Government Agency under the administrative control of Ministry of Home Affairs. The troopers asked children to explore and learn more about our motherland and insisted that children should focus on eating healthy food; play all sports as well as study hard. They also requested the children to be social in real life, and not focus on ‘social media’ on mobile in the initial years of their life.
Discovery Kids head Uttam Pal Singh mentioned, “The life lessons shared by BSF Jawans are invaluable and we attempt is to take these messages to millions of children through their favourite character Little Singham. This special performance by Little Singham and his troupe was a dedication to Indian Armed Forces whose commitment and valour inspire him to be a better cop and an even better citizen.”
Inspired by one of Bollywood’s biggest blockbuster franchise Singham, and mentored by ace director Rohit Shetty, Little Singham was launched by Discovery Kids in collaboration with Reliance Animation and Rohit Shetty Picturez. Since then he has been creating history across dimensions and has become one of the favorite characters in a very short span of time. Discovery Kids recently launched new season Little Singham 3.0 with crazy new villains, adventures, locations topped up with special feature films filled with boundless entertainment, pulsating action and unlimited dose of laughter.
Reliance Animation COO Tejonidhi Bhandare added, “Little Singham has always tried to inspire children with his brave deeds. The aim of this activity is to make children understand the lessons of life through the voice of real bravehearts – the Indian soldiers.”
