My Boyfriend is a Bear is about Nora, an unlucky-in-love woman who finds her true love with the most unexpected—a 500-pound American Black Bear. The film will focus on their relationship as the couple goes about discovering a lot of things. They will encounter hipster neighbours, judgmental friends, and Bear’s imminent need for hibernation puts their relationship through an ultimate test.
Legendary has previously attained success by producing big-budget adaptations for Warner Bros. and Universal such as Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, Man of Steel, 2014’s Godzilla, Pacific Rim, Pacific Rim: Uprising, and the Jurassic World.
