With all the toddlers pumped up to celebrate this festival with all pomp, the broadcasters in the kids space seem to be leaving no stone unturned in adding the much oomph factor to the lives of the kids on the festival days.
It is believed that the youth is the future of the nation, so in order to enlighten as well as entertain the tiny tots on this auspicious day, the children’s category of the broadcast space has lined-up a range of special programmes. Here’s what these channels have to offer the toddlers on Diwali.
Cartoon Network
India’s first official Cartoon channel just like always this time too is all set to treat their viewers with a platter full of entertaining shows specially designed for the occasion. A week full of entertainment and laugh till you drop moments, CN is all set to double the celebration by celebrating their beloved Kris’s birthday in their special birthday slot, Kris ka Dhamakedar Birthday from 9 to 14 November at 10:30 am. The slot shall see a lot of movies being played out and specials, including Salman Khan’s latest cameo on Cartoon Network in the Kris Sang Salman Aayo special.
Following the tradition of joy of gifting this festive season, Kris is all set to celebrate his birthday combined with Diwali with 6 lucky fans. Kris ka Dhamakedar Birthday contest from 9 to 14 November, 10:30 am onwards, and participate in the contest to win a special invite to this amazing party!

The younger sibling, Pogo is leaving no stone unturned to treat the viewers with a perfect concoction of fun, entertainment and a chance to win an exclusive trip to Singapore.
The channel shall be carrying back to back Chhota Bheem movies and specials that will be aired throughout the week from 9 to 13 from 9:00 am onwards. On 11 November 2015, Pogo will be featuring a brand new movie called Chhota Bheem: Dinosaur World at 12:00 pm while on 12 November the next day get to experience the third encounter of Bollywood’s Prem , Salman Khan with our Brave Chota Bheem only POGO in Prem Dilwala aur Bheem Dholakpurwala at 12:00 pm.
However, the biggest bonanza for kids this Diwali is the opportunity to win a holiday to Singapore for which the kids all have to do is participate in the Dholakpurwali Diwali contest from 9 to 13 November and answer the questions.
Nickelodean
Nickelodeon is all set to entertain kids with their new action comedy series revolving around the local hero Shiva staring from 9 November at 6:30 pm. The action comedy is based on a 9 year old kid Shiva living in the city called Veda who with the help of his magical gadgets like a bicycle, a deadly watch; and his friends Reva, UD and Adi, save their city, their land from all the evils and threats and also from the prime antagonist Jwala Singh. Alongside on the 13 November, to celebrate Children’s day and also to give the kids a feel of Shiva’s magical Cycle, Nick is all geared to upto conduct a cycle race for kids targeting the kids ageing from 6- 14 years.
