Hybride, the Quebec based VFX studio, has opened a new studio space in Montreal in order to expand its operations. The new 3,000 square-foot creative space has been set up in the same building as its parent company Ubisoft, on St-Laurent Street.
Having delivered extensive VFX work in films like Jurassic World, Pacific Rim and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Hybride currently employs over 100 team members at its headquarters Piedmont. The new space will act as an extension of the existing studio, with production work being divided between the two.
This expansion of Hybride will facilitate an increased capacity to take on additional workloads while maintaining the level of quality for delivering VFX projects. It will also allow artists who live in the greater metropolitan area to join the Hybride team and contribute their bit of skill and creativity.
After completing work on the television series Black Sails Season 3, Hybride is currently working on Warcraft, the upcoming action adventure film based on the video game franchise.
