Hulu has unveiled a first-look clip from the holiday short, an exclusive spin-off of Fox’s long-running animated comedy Bob’s Burgers. Creator and executive producer Loren Bouchard announced the premiere date at the show’s New York Comic Con panel, alongside voice cast members H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Kristen Schaal, Eugene Mirman, Dan Mintz and Larry Murphy. He first revealed the project at San Diego Comic-Con in July.
With a record-breaking Christmas snowstorm sweeping in, Tina, Gene and Louise Belcher have one thing on their minds: building a snow fort worthy of the occasion. It is time to turn the winter wonderland into a construction site.
The short will stream exclusively on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the US, while Disney+ will carry it in most international markets.
Created by Bouchard, Bob’s Burgers follows Bob and Linda Belcher and their children Tina, Gene and Louise as they navigate family life while running a seaside burger restaurant in New Jersey. The series debuted on Fox in January 2011 and has been renewed through season 19. Season 17 is set to return in 2027.
20th Television Animation produces the series, with Bouchard executive producing alongside Nora Smith, Dan Fybel, Rich Rinaldi, Jon Schroeder, Steven Davis, Scott Jacobson, Holly Schlesinger, Wendy Molyneux, Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin and Janelle Momary-Neely. Jim Dauterive co-developed the show.
