This week Green Gold has so much to offer its little customers, new stores and more fresh products. Two new stores have opened at IMAX Wadala and Big Cinemas Hyderabad on Friday, 19 September.
“By the end of this year we will be opening at least 15 more stores. But right now our focus is to increase licensing; we have come out with our own range of various products. Every kid nowadays wants a Chota Bheem or Mighty Raju T-shirt, so we are coming out with lots of apparels. As winters are coming up we have launched a new range of pull-over’s that will cost between Rs 700-800,” said Green Gold Stores head Sudeesh Varma.
Parents get ready to fulfil your kids’ wishes as Green Gold has launched an exciting range of merchandise. From lunch boxes to pencil boxes, spoons & forks sets, plates, bowls, ‘Chutki’ bags and soft toys, you will get to see and buy everything at any Green Gold store near you.
“We will also come out with new range of jackets in couple of month’s time. Now we are also offering candies for kids. We have launched this new vitamin flavoured toffee for kids above 2 years, for this we have tied up with Genmedic Company,” revealed Sudeesh.
In order to inculcate the habit of brushing among kids, the store has also launched exclusive collection of electronic brushes. “In order to encourage kids to brush twice a day we have launched this new series of brushes. For this we have tied up with Dentoshine medical company which has licensed and marketed this product,” expounded Sudeesh.
Green Gold Stores have joined hands with more than 150 companies for licensing and marketing their products. Avon cycles are one of them. It plans to open 4-5 more stores by next month.
“We have tasted failure also. If we have operational stores, we have also shut down a few in the recent past. Our Chhota Bheem MOSTI tab is also witnessing increasing sales, indicating kids are more digitally savvy nowadays. It was launched last month only and we have managed to sell two tabs in a month per store. Most of them are getting sold online,” said Sudeesh.
Green Gold is the only Indian company to get recognition under The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association – LIMA. “It’s like a cake walk for us because Chhota Bheem in itself is a brand; it helps us to market our product. Our purpose is to build green Gold stores as a brand. Right now everyone knows Chota Bheem but they don’t know that it’s a product of Green Gold itself, so we want to reach out at that level when people will know what green gold is,” ended Sudeesh.
