Goodbye Kansas Studios to mentor students of a British VFX academy as industry partner

Goodbye Kansas Studios partners with Escape Studios

Sweden’s Goodbye Kansas Studios has come on board as the industry partner of London’s VFX academy Escape Studios.

Goodbye Kansas Studios is an animation and post production service studio that works on segments such as VFX, FX, CG production, 3D face and body scanning, digital humans, creature and character design, performance capture and animation. The studio has worked on CG trailers for various AAA games like PlayStation Studios’ Helldivers 2, Remedy Entertainment’s Alan Wake 2, CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 and Ubisoft’s The Division.   

The studio will mentor and provide feedback to Escape Studios students who have enrolled in the MA Visual Effects Production (Compositing) course and the Compositing for Visual Effects short course. Apart from that, the studios will collaborate with the academy throughout the year on many other areas.

Escape Studios is a London based higher education academy that specialises in animation, VFX and gaming industries. The studio was founded in 2002 and has partnered with clients such as PlayStation London Studio, Framestore, DNEG, Creative Assembly, Cinesite, Blue Zoo and The Mill. The academy is an Unreal authorised training centre in the UK and is also an Unreal Engine Academic Partner.
