Game on: JetSynthesys and Japan’s Mixi team up to power India’s gaming scene

India’s gaming pitch just got another international player. JetSynthesys, a Pune-based digital entertainment and technology company and Japanese digital entertainment company Mixi have signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) to explore collaborations spanning gaming, esports, digital entertainment and marketing in India.

Announced on 28 September 2026, the Pune-Tokyo tie-up aims to bring JetSynthesys’ understanding of India’s digital landscape together with Mixi’s gaming and entertainment expertise, with both companies looking to unlock new business opportunities in the market.

The MOU will explore potential collaboration across game development and publishing support, marketing and user acquisition, esports, market intelligence and business development. The companies will also examine strategic investment opportunities and other areas of mutual interest.

JetSynthesys chairman Rajan Navani shared, “This partnership brings together complementary strengths from India and Japan, opening new possibilities across video gaming and digital entertainment, with the potential to create experiences for audiences globally.”

JetSynthesys Japan CEO Ryo Shima mentioned, “India has emerged as one of the world’s most exciting digital entertainment and gaming markets, and global companies are increasingly looking for the right partner to help them navigate its scale, diversity and opportunity. With game development, publishing, esports, marketing and investment all on the table, the India-Japan partnership is keeping its cards close but the game is clearly afoot.
