FUN Union announced new deals with key partners across a range of territories for its series- BabyRiki, KikoRiki and PinCode. The company has signed exclusive deal with ITV, a commercial network in the UK, for preschool series BabyRiki.
Each five-minute episode combines 3D CGI and live video to entertain the young audience and help them learn concepts through play. ITVBe will broadcast seasons one and two starting 3 September.
BabyRiki, KikoRiki and PinCode will feature in North America, on educational SVOD app PlayKids, which was launched in 2013 by Brazil-based Movile from 23 August. In the US, Kabillion has also considered BabyRiki Season one and two for its VOD services, to launch in mid-September.
In Asia, FUN Union inked an agreement with NOW TV (Hong Kong-based PCCW Media’s pay TV platform) for BabyRiki to be part of its SVOD service, Watch & Learn which launched on 9 August. The company also partnered with POPS Worldwide to launch the three series on its POPS Kids channel.
Season one and two of BabyRiki has garnered more than 900 million views combined on Chinese digital platforms Tencent Video, iQiyi, Youku, Mango TV and Beva since launching. Season three of BabyRiki is currently in the production stage and will probably be completed by year end.
