In the upcoming FICCI FRAMES 2015, a three-day global convention scheduled to begin from 25 March 2015, covering the entire gamut of Media & Entertainment for the very first time a unique concept of ‘Frame Ur Idea’ has been introduced where the participants can pitch their ideas/concepts/stories to in to a panel representing an organisation, looking for that next big idea/script/story.
FICCI – Animation, Gaming, Visual Effects and Comics, chairman, Ashish Kulkarni said in a statement: “This unique innovation ‘Frame ur Idea’ has been introduced for the first time at FICCI FRAMES and gives a chance to aspiring creative professionals to showcase their ideas to the industry. Interestingly, ‘Frame Ur Idea’ supports the presentation of ideas for almost all mediums possible, be it feature film, documentaries, kids programming, animation, gaming, TV series, daily soaps, comics, reality shows and digital content.With this platform we want to create an environment for structured face-to-face interaction between the content producer/broadcaster and the idea owners.Thus creating a win-win situation where the idea owner gets an opportunity to pitch an idea/concept/story/script to content producer/broadcaster/publisher/ studio etc.”
‘Frame ur Idea’ will be featuring Game Hack special on the 25 March 2015. Game Hack is an initiative to offer a platform for highly talented and fast exploding indie mobile game developer ecosystem in India to showcase their ideas to prospective investors, publishers and App Store merchandisers. In its first year the Game Hack has travelled to six cities in India and the quality of ideas and audience response has been very positive.

FICCI FRAMES 2015 will see nearly 2,000 Indian and 800 foreign delegates encompassing the entire universe of media and entertainment attending the event covering the entire gamut of Media and Entertainment like Films, Broadcast (TV & Radio), Digital Entertainment, Animation, Gaming, Visual Effects etc.
Each participating content producer/broadcaster/publisher for ‘Frame us Idea’ shall be provided dedicated rooms at the FICCI frames venue, to observe the ideas being presented to them.

26th March – Animation/Gaming/ Kids Programming
27th March – Television/Documentaries
Participating panellists include Dharma Productions, Disney India Studios, ROMP Pictures, Excel Entertainment, Sikhya Entertainment and Phantom Films for Films category. While for Animation & Kids content the panellists will be CFSI, Cartoon Network, Pogo, Nickelodeon, Sonic, Disney Channel India, ZeeQ, Discovery Kids, Screenyug, Gaming, Reliance Games, Nazara, and the TV category panellists include Star Plus, Zee TV, Life OK TV, Channel V.
A free pitching workshop for the ‘Frame ur Idea’ participants, by Ram Mirchandani (COO, Endemol) Vikram Motwane (writer, producer, director at Phantom Films), ShridharRaghvan (screenwriter & creative consultant), & Sophy VSivaraman (Documentary pitching expert) to be conducted by FICCI Frame & Film Writers Association; on Monday 23 March 2015, 5:00-7:00 pm, at the Film Writers Association’s office in Mumbai.
With the only pre-requisite for eligibility to ‘Frame ur Idea’ being registering for FICCI Frames 2015, this platform may just be the oasis for creative minds world over looking for opportunities to present their ideas to the increasingly global Indian content eco system.
