Disney Pixar’s franchise Finding Nemo (2003) is back with its sequel Finding Dory as the first official trailer was released on 10 November, 2015. Directed by Andrew Stanton along with Angus MacLane, this film revolves around the most beloved amnesiac character Dory.
The voyage that goes through a millennium of adventures overcoming wild milestones and scary escapades will be seen in this sequel too. The film, Finding Nemo, displayed the reunion of the little fish with his father while in this sequel; their friendly counterpart is on her search for her family. The loving but forgetful blue tang fish suddenly remembers her family and decides that she needs to find all of them. As Dory has a beautiful memory, she immediately forgets what she thinks of, what she says and where she has to go! And with this memory, will Dory even be able to find her family? And even if she does, will she remember that they are her family?
Voiced by American television host Ellen DeGeneres, Dory is the character that entertained the audience with her sweet forgetful nature and unconditional helpful attitude as she goes out of her way to help find Nemo.
Those who have experienced Finding Nemo have definitely gone on a deep underwater quest and swam all the way through Nemo’s journey. Now, with this trailer ending by saying ‘This June…just keep swimming’ surely, the upcoming film is going to lead to another spell bound adventure as we will swim with Dory this time till she finds her destiny. Produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures, the film is set to hit theatres in June 2016.
