Emomee has taken a major step towards becoming a global children’s entertainment franchise from India with the launch of its first show on Netflix. The children’s entertainment brand created around characters E, Mo and Mee, officially debuted on the streaming platform on 24 August 2026.
The launch comes just 15 months after its first major global streaming expansion.
Emomee has reached families in more than 100 countries, crossed more than a billion views and built a community of over two and a half million subscribers. The brand also gained national attention through Shark Tank India, where the founders received offers from all five sharks.
The first Netflix series, Emomee: Big Skills for Little Ones, Minis, features 20 curated 11-minute episodes aimed at preschoolers and their families. The series focuses on essential life skills including confidence, and problem-solving, using everyday situations and playful adventures to make learning engaging.
Emomee founder & CEO Pooja Jauhari said, “This launch represents much more than a new distribution platform. It is another milestone in building Emomee into a global entertainment company. Every step we’ve taken – from growing a loyal audience to expanding onto streaming platforms – is helping us build a long-term franchise that will extend beyond content into consumer products, licensing and live experiences.”
The brand’s content is built around the idea that entertainment can help children to develop skills for the future. The stories explore themes such as resilience, communication, empathy, confidence and curiosity while presenting them through entertaining adventures.
The Netflix debut is part of Emomee’s wider expansion strategy across streaming, live experiences, consumer products and licensing. The company is also set to showcase its growing slate and franchise ambitions at Mipcom later this year as it looks to develop international distribution and licensing partnerships.
