After much confusion over the distribution rights of the EA Games in India, Amazon has just put out a banner stating that it will be exclusively circulating FIFA 16 across old and new gen consoles and pre-orders are on for the same.
Milestone Interactive was the Indian distributor for EA but after the fallout, EA was in a lookout for a new vendor which could help getting its troubles down for the Indian market. The online route is not one of the safest bet and both Amazon and Flipkart have faced the brunt of it in the past with games like Destiny and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and exclusive titles on e-commerce have backfired.
The prices too are a concern for the users here. The Xbox One and PS4 users will have to shell Rs 3999, while the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will cost for Rs 3499. The Deluxe Edition is a little more expensive and the game retails at Rs 3999 for old gen, and Rs 4499 for current gen. The PC version of FIFA 16 will not be sold on Amazon as title is set to be sold exclusively through EA’s digital platform, Origin.
