In week 3 of the TAM TV ratings, the mainstay kids channel from Viacom18 – Nick – has shed 32 rating points and moved to second spot in the kids’ space with 229 TVTs (261). Disney Channel India has struck gold this week moving up to the numero uno spot with 249 TVTs (226).
Coming in at third is Hungama with 216 TVTs (236) and followed by both the Turner siblings – Cartoon Network and Pogo – tied at 192 TVTs (CN – 187, Pogo – 194).
The other channels including Disney XD, Sonic, Disney Jr, Discovery Kids and Chutti TV are still trailing the top 5 channels in the space with a huge margin.
In terms of the reach of the channels, Nick was at 43 per cent followed by CN at 39 per cent. The most watched shows in the week were Pokemon and Doraemon both from Hungama.
