Just a day to the much awaited launch of Disney’s streaming service, Disney+, which promises tonnes of content from across its various catalogues. Disney+ launches tomorrow, 12 November.
From Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, animated and live-action classics, National Geographic and the recently acquired Fox catalogue, Disney+ will have it all besides Disney+ originals.
Though all movies or TV shows from each of these brands will be available at launch, there will be sufficient content to keep fans hooked and entertained.
Content that’ll available starting tomorrow include :
- LucasFilm’s new Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian. The second episode will be available on Friday 15 November and all the forthcoming episodes will be released every Friday. All the classic original Star Wars films will be there on the streaming service.
- The X-Men animated series from the 90’s.
- Avengers: Endgame will be available at the launch.
- The first three Toy Story movies.
- James Cameron’s Avatar is another launch film. This launch comes just in time for its tenth anniversary, as well as next year’s sequel.
- Animated show Gravity Falls, is another Disney+ launch title.
- Willow!
- All 30 seasons of The Simpsons will be available on day one.
- The new live-action Lady and the Tramp movie premieres on day-one.
Apart from that, great animated classics like Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Aladdin and The Little Mermaid will also be available from tomorrow.
Disney+ launches tomorrow in the US, Canada and the Netherlands; on 19 November in New Zealand and Australia; and on 31 March 2020 in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. The service costs $6.99 a month or $69.99 per year.
