The covid-19 lockdown has made everyone turn to their hobbies which were not getting the deserved time. From baking, cooking to sculpting, painting or writing. If you are looking for more art projects, Disney has got your back.
Disney is offering free series of animation courses through its YouTube channel, teaching how iconic characters like Minnie Mouse, Elsa, and many more can be drawn. The classes are led by Disney animations and range from 10 to 30 minutes long.
The videos show artists like Heather Worley showing how one can draw the Genie from Aladdin, Brian Fichtner drawing Grumpy from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Winnie the Pooh.
Various studies show that drawing can have a significant effect on your mental health, during emotionally stressful times. Sketching can be more than just a way to pass time. A 2016 study found that drawing serves as a distraction from sadness. Other studies suggests that this type of drawing for distraction can help you experience “flow,” which is the state of optimal experience that comes when we’re intensely involved in an activity.
