Ahead of the 18 March premiere for Daredevil season 2, Netflix released a new trailer, Matthew Murdock has new problems to deal with in Hell’s Kitchen and his alter ego ‘Daredevil’ is going to face tough time dealing with it.
The trailer starts with a Castle letter box, and images of Frank Castle and his daughter with a nursery rhyme, ‘One Batch, Two Batch – Penny and Dime’. Frank Castle is here and he is here to punish the criminals and he is not taking half measures with it.
Jon Bernthal plays Frank Castle aka Punisher and like Daredevil he too is a vigilante whose sole aim is to wipe off the criminals without any mercy. At one point of the time he is seen telling Daredevil that he is one bad day away from turning into him.
The trailer is centered around Punisher and his different ideologies than Daredevil but that is not the only concern for our Hell’s Kitchen vigilante but Matt’s past has come down haunting him with Elektra’s (Elodie Yung) arrival to say ‘Hello’. This is just the part one of the trailer and the next part is releasing next week which will mostly be having Elektra as its centre of attraction.
Marvel’s Daredevil season 2 stars Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Scott Glenn (Stick) and Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple).
