Prime Video has launched Crunchyroll’s anime offerings on its streaming platform in India. Prime members can get access to Crunchyroll’s anime shows and films at an add-on subscription of Rs 79 per month.
The anime-exclusive digital platform Crunchyroll offers over 800 titles in India, with dubs in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
“The popularity of anime content in India has grown exponentially over the last few years, and through various channels, we are working towards building a wide and diverse library of popular and blockbuster Japanese animation,” said Prime Video India channels and movie rentals head Gaurav Bhasin. “We look forward to strengthening our anime programming on Prime Video Channels in the coming months.”

Crunchyroll‘s titles which will now be available to Prime members include popular series Kaiju No.8, Black Butler – Public School Arc, Solo Leveling, Demon Slayer – Hashira Training Arc and many more.
Apart from Crunchyroll, Prime Video currently offers anime titles from third party platforms like Anime Times and Animax.
