Comic Invasion Night organised by Comic Con India at Chilli’s Grill and Bar on 14 March, witnessed a crazy celebration of pub-quiz, cosplaying and stand-up comedy; setting the stage for and Flagging off Bangalore Comic Con 2015 which will take place in April 2015.
The Comic Invasion Night gave Bangaloreans an evening full of laughter with the city’s amusing & popular stand-up comedians; Sundeep Rao and Sanjay Manaktala taking centre stage.
Sundeep Rao, professional stand-up comedian, said: “I was here last year and enjoyed because there is nothing more fun than seeing Bangaloreans getting dressed up for cosplay and going crazy, using some imagination and messing up this city of Bangalore.”
The night had lots of things in store for the locals and gave them a chance to come and deck up as their favourite characters. All crazy comic fans didn’t miss a single chance to get their pics clicked with coolest and funky cosplayers in the city.
Shreyank,a cosplayer, dressed as Missi said: “Hi, I am dressed up as Missi from Pokemon and I work as full time events and marketing executive. Comic-Con is that one place; you got be to have fun.”
If this wasn’t enough, an interesting Pub-Quiz was organised in which people were asked crazy questions from the world of Pop Culture and winners won goodies from Comic-Con India. Some even grabbed free passes to Bangalore Comic-Con 2015!
Abhishek, winner of the super fan pass said, “It’s the coolest thing ever to hang out and on top of that I got to win super fan pass.”
An action packed Bangalore Comics Convention 2015 is all set to entertain Indian audience at White Orchid Convention Centre from 3-5 April 2015 between 11:00 am to 9:00 pm.
