Chaos adds latest assets with variants to Cosmos Update 12

Chaos Cosmos recently released its Update 12, adding over 400 new render-ready assets for V-Ray scenes and more than 800 assests for Corona. This latest release also introduces an exciting new feature: assets with variants, giving users a wider range of content choices for the same 3D model.

One of the most exciting features in Chaos Cosmos Update 12 is assets with variants. Available for select assets in the vegetation and people categories, this feature enables you to quickly switch between variants of the same 3D model — whether that means adjusting material and/or geometry via the ‘Cosmos Asset’ object, after it is imported into the V-Ray 7 scene.

Users can choose between 190 plus Cosmos assets, working perfectly with V-Ray Luminaires – 3D models by vendors like Evermotion and CGAxis as well as the digital twins of real physical products like Lumina and Two Parts.

Also, they will have access to a vast content library of more than 6000 high-quality assets ready for their projects. In Update 12, Chaos focused on enriching the vegetation and people categories, offering even more diverse possibilities for creating dynamic, realistic environments.

Cosmos Update 12 expands the vegetation category with over 250 new high-quality models, featuring trees, plants, and shrubs in different sizes, shapes, and seasonal variations with multiple levels of detail. Whether one is designing an urban park or a sprawling natural landscape, these render-ready assets will help you add depth and realism to their scenes while saving time on manual adjustments. Chaos also brings more variety to their Presets collection with additional 10 scatter presets that help you create complex environments – faster.

Cosmos 12 introduces over 70 new static people models, including couple and single poses. Whether users are creating a bustling city street or a tranquil park scene, these realistic 3D people models help add a sense of scale and realism, providing a relatable touch to their designs. Selected 3D models give them the opportunity to switch between colour variations of the same outfit.

Chaos Cosmos 12 also extends the material collection, with 400+ materials from the V-Ray library and 600+ native Corona materials, available in Cosmos for Corona 12 and above. From bricks and concrete to glass and metal, these materials offer endless options for enhancing the surfaces in your scenes.

Additionally, 17 decals and 38 fabrics by Twinbru have been added for V-Ray, Corona, and Vantage users. New partner Extreme Textures also brings 10 high quality materials like leather, tiles and wooden floorings.

Chaos announced new partnerships with IWC Home and Fanuli, bringing a range of elegant and modern furniture pieces to the Chaos Cosmos collection. So not only can users visualize a standout sofa in stunning detail, but they can almost feel the texture of the fabric through the screen.

  • IWC Home introduces 10 models from their modular collection, ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas.
  • Fanuli adds nine designer models, including chairs and sofas perfect for both residential and commercial spaces.

Now designers have access to a virtual showroom of incredible digital twins ready to be placed into their designs. Instead of looking at abstract plans, designers and clients can experience a space that feels real with furniture from brands they recognize and purchase from.

Any piece of furniture, high-tech lamps or fabrics available from the brand partners can be purchased directly from their respective e-shop.
