Treyarch, the developer behind this year’s instalment of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has released a teaser trailer which gives us a taste of the tone and premise of the upcoming sequel.
The Black Ops 3 teaser opens with the warning, “Mankind’s greatest mistake will be its inability to control the technology it has created.”
The trailer gives no glimpse of the gameplay, but talks a lot about the future of mankind and the potential wars and riots waiting to happen in the future. Taking a docu-drama approach, showcasing the next 50 years of human life, along with what it has also achieved over the years. This teaser also features augmented professional athletes, soldiers, and a whistleblower leaking trade secrets about soldiers of the dead being developed by USA.
The video boasts of biotech advancements, including cybernetic limb replacements, brain-to-brain connections and DNA implants. The video predicts how advancements in cybernetics will affect health, professional sports and the military.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will have its official reveal this Sunday, 26 April.
