BRB International’s ‘Invizimals’ looks to conquer the small screen

The series Invizimals, the first transmedia production of its kind and based on the successful PlayStation videogame saga is being launched to conquer the small screen.

TVE’s Clan Channel will premiere it on 5 December, at 8:05 pm, and air it daily from then on several times a day. Also, Super 3, of Televisió de Catalunya, launched it this past weekend, airing several different episodes on both Saturday and Sunday.

And other international channels, such as Al Jazeera, Disney XD, Gulli, K2, Multimania, Megamax, SIC, Star, Eleven and Talit also boast of having the series on their programming charts.

Done in high definition and aimed at a target between 6 and 12 years old, the series Invizimals, consisting of twenty-six 30-minute episodes, unveils the new adventures within the world of the Invizimals, a parallel dimension to ours in which live some mysterious creatures who are invisible to the human eye. This story tells us all about the deeds of the young scientist Keni Nakamura – the discoverer of the gateway that connects both worlds – and the Z1 Unit of the Alliance of Hunters – to which the teenagers Hiro, Lima and Sam belong – on their different missions to discover and protect the Invizimals from the threat posed by an army of robots: the evil Xtractors.

On these new adventures, Tigershark, the most powerful of all and leader of the Invizimals, will play an essential role. Viewers will also be able to join the fun on every episode by capturing different Invizimals or Xtractors which appear on their television screens, through a portable PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) system or with iOs/Android devices that have the free Invizimals: Capturador TV app installed.

Invizimals includes a high-quality soundtrack that, in its Spanish-language version, will be interpreted by the Latin pop star Abraham Mateo. Also, the young recording artist composed the song that closes each episode specifically for the series: Cazado (Hunted). The series is directed by José Luis Ucha and written by outstanding scriptwriters such as Jonathan Call & Collin Kelly (SlugterraBen10 Omniverse), Brian Hartigan & Scott Albert (Johnny Test), and Andrew Robinson (Transformers PrimeSpectacular Spiderman), among others.

Co-produced by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Screen 21, Televisió de Catalunya and Televisión Espańola, the cartoon series Invizimals forms part of a transmedia universe in full expansion. BRB Internacional manages the rights to the Invizimals brand in Spain, Portugal and Greece, as well as the television series worldwide.
