After 22 years of battles, transformations and Soul Reaper, the benevolent guardians of the overall flow of souls, action, Bleach has reached the end of its anime run. The 50th and final episode of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War has arrived, with the franchise marking the occasion through two special videos.
The first is a special ending movie that opens with creator Tite Kubo’s iconic illustration from the manga’s first volume. It then looks back at the series’ expansive cast and pays tribute to the staff behind the concluding adaptation.
The second video brings together the Bleach The Stories visuals, tracing protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki’s evolution through 15 different forms. The collection spans the Substitute Arc to the Thousand-Year Blood War, bringing two decades of Soul Reaper history into one visual showcase.
There is more for fans to look forward to beyond the final frame. Character designer Masashi Kudo has illustrated an exclusive bonus image for the fourth Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Blu-ray and DVD collection, alongside the cover for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Original Soundtrack III.
Both releases are scheduled to arrive in Japan on 24 March 2027.
The anime may have drawn its final sword, but these farewell videos give fans one last chance to revisit the battles, characters and transformations that shaped Bleach over 22 years.
