
The battle for the BGMI Masters Series S5 championship is entering its decisive stage, with 16 teams competing for the remaining Grand Finals spots and a share of a more than Rs one crore prize pool.
Nodwin Gaming has announced the commencement of the playoffs stage of BGMI Master Series (BGMS) S5 , which runs from 31 August to 2 September following three weeks of competition, six teams have already secured their places in grand finals, while the remaining 16 teams will compete for the final 10 spots.
The tournament has so far crossed 20 million total views, with more than seven million watch hours. Peak concurrent viewership has surpassed 220,000, including watch parties, highlighting the continued interest in BGMI esports among fans across India.
iQOO Team Tamilas topped the BGMS S5 Super Weekend leaderboard with 460 points and secured a direct place in the grand finals. Elite Nova Esports, iQOO Soul, Nebula Esports, Gladiators Esports and Iris Myth have also qualified for the final stage.
Vasista Esports and Gladiators Esports currently lead the tournament’s win count with 11 Winner Winner Chicken Dinners (WWCDs) each. Meanwhile, Hydro from Team Apex Gaming leads the MVP standings with 198 eliminations.
The playoffs will also feature iQOO Orangutan and GodLike Esports, which joined the BGMS S5 campaign during super weekend one. Both teams entered the domestic competition following their international campaigns at the Esports World Cup, where they secured places in the grand finals of the Pubg Mobile World CUP (PMWC).

The playoffs will feature six matches scheduled daily beginning at 3:30 pm IST. The top-performing teams will then advance to the BGMS S5 grand finals from 4 to 6 September, where India’s best BGMI squads will battle for the championship title and a share of the Rs 1+ crore prize pool.
Fans can tune in each day from 4:00 pm IST onwards as the final chapter of BGMS S5 unfolds.The grand finals will also be available for fans to experience live, with tickets available through OneApp and the BGMS website.
