Tomb Raider with a perilous looking location as a backdrop to the story and she hanging by a wretch is what you expect of the game after it successful reboot in 2013. Square Enix have now revealed the cinematic trailer of the game before the big gameplay reveal at E3 later this month.
Lara’s voice Camilla Luddington is narrating the hardships one has to follow to become the legend she has become and the destiny that awaits her. Seen in the harsh climatic conditions surrounded by the mountains, Lara is climbing a mountain to reach cave, which suggests it has secrets hidden inside.
First revealed at Gamescon last year, Rise of the Tomb Raider will be timed exclusive for Microsoft’s Xbox devices when it release during holiday 2015. The game is to feature later on PlayStation and PC but neither Sony nor Square Enix have made any announcement for the same. Microsoft is betting big this E3 and wants to be back big in the gaming scene. Not only does it have Tomb Raider on it hands, it also has another big game which is creating quite a buzz is Halo 5.
Along with the debut of the trailer, Xbox and Crystal Dynamics revealed the box art for Rise of the Tomb Raider, featuring Lara Croft holding a flare at the edge of an ancient secret tomb. The artwork gives a glimpse of adventure, epic journey and discovery that fans have come to expect from the legendary franchise.
