Baba Sehgal goes rapping with Sonic India’s ‘Pakdam Pakdai’

The Indian industry has amazing stand up comedians, but one person who makes people giggle with his raps is none other than Baba Sehgal aka Harjeet Singh Sehgal. Born in Lucknow and based in Hyderabad, this rapper who forever won our hearts with his peppy rap numbers like: ‘Thanda Thanda Pani’, ‘Chicken Fried Rice’, ‘Going To The Gym’ and ‘Aloo Ka Paratha’ is now  all set to make children go gaga over him with his new collaboration with Sonic India’s Pakdam Pakdai.

While speaking exclusively with AnimationXpress.com, Baba Sehgal also updated viewers with the fact that apart from rapping for this hilarious show, he has also voiced for the main characters. The rap that took almost three months from the pre-production to the final output was put out across social media on 11 September. This peppy number that has already gone viral online with more than 1.6 lakh views just in 5 days, shows the cute little fights between the Doggy Don and Chotu along with  their notorious acts and pranks on the rapstar.

Pakdam Pakdai currently airing on Nickelodeon network’s Sonic has also travelled to the international market as Rat-A-Tat .Doggy Don (just Don in the international broadcast) a little light-red dog, who is helped by his elder brother Colonel to fight against three mice namely Motu (Marly), Chhotu (Charly), and Lambu (Larry). Chhotu is the self-proclaimed leader of Chuha Party.  The funny series also had a movie to its credits, ‘Pakdam Pakdai’ released on 21 December 2014 for the broadcast space.
