After a massive success last year, Indian Industry, including leaders in the technology sector, have expressed their support for Autodesk University (AU) India and SAARC 2016, which will be held on 1 September, 2016 at the CIDCO Exhibition Centre, Navi Mumbai. This will be the fourth consecutive year for AU India and SAARC and the event is expected to attract an attendance of 4000+ participants, including design professionals, engineers, students, industry experts and technology enthusiasts.
The event will showcase the latest product and technology innovations from the industry (IoT, 3D Printing, Virtual Reality, VFX, Robotics) and would also comprise of interactive workshops, demonstrations, knowledge sessions, and a display of exhibits from the Autodesk Gallery in San Francisco. A key highlight this year is a daylong Maker festival co-hosted by India Maker Movement and NASSCOM 10,000 start-ups in partnership with Maker Fest.

Autodesk University, 2016, will be a day long event with several specialists-led sessions and industry keynotes by technical experts. Some of the key highlights of AU, 2016 are:

- AU International 2016 Gallery – A transportable and consistent Future Of Making Things Gallery experience travelling through 4 countries
- It will highlight a mix of customer and Autodesk design technology innovation stories
- 3DR Drones, Molecular Viewer, Smart Hydro Power, Infinite Seats, Under Armour Shoes, Exiii Prosthetics, Ember 3D printer
- Industry Sessions – Reality Capture through modern Technologies, Product Innovation Platform, Making of movies like Fan, Sultan and The Jungle Book by Red Chillies VFX, Yash Raj Films and MPC India respectively
