For the third consecutive year, the Asia TV Forum (ATF) 2014 will be held in conjunction with ScreenSingapore 2014. The four-day conference programme will take place from 9 to 12 December 2014 at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore.
This year will also see some industry biggies coming down for the three day conference. A power-packed line up of international speakers including James Zhonglei Wang, President of privately owned Chinese corporation, Huayi Brothers Media Corporation; Ma Dong, Chief Content Officer of Baidu’s IQIYI (China); Alon Shtruzman, CEO, Keshet International (Israel); Tom Beattie, Head of Animation and Children’s Programming for Tiger Aspect Productions (United Kingdom) and Nicholas Wodtke, Vice President, Media Solution Centre, Samsung Electronics (Southeast Asia & Oceania) will addressing the gathering over the next few days.
Apart from the conferences, there is also the ‘Animation Lab’ (commencing from 10 December) that will give the perfect opportunity for independent artists and studios to pitch their IPs and shows to global leaders like Walt Disney and DreamWorks Animation Studios for a better understanding of how to go about creating, selling or commissioning their IPs in the future. And to also get a crash course in creating formats from the likes of Alexis De Gemini, Founder and CEO, A2G Studio, France and Tim Crescenti, President, Small World International Format Television, United States.
Being Asia’s leading entertainment content market, and a must-attend international platform for financing, co-producing, buying and selling opportunities of entertainment content across all platforms, ATF works well in bringing together international sellers and Asia Pacific buyers on a common forum, in turn becoming the gateway to Asia’s entertainment content business arena.
