Animated series ‘Baahubali: Crown of Blood’ to hit Disney+ Hotstar

Indian filmmaker SS Rajamouli globally known for his magnum opus films like Baahubali, RRR is revisiting his popular Baahubali franchise in animated form. Disney+ Hotstar recently unveiled the trailer of this upcoming adult animated series Baahubali: Crown of Blood.

As per a report on Variety, the new show is a Graphic India and Arka Mediaworks production, created by Rajamouli and Sharad Devarajan. Rajamouli and Devarajan have produced the series alongside Shobu Yarlagadda. Baahubali: Crown of Blood has been directed and produced by Jeevan J. Kang and Navin John. 

Earlier, Arka and Graphic India produced five seasons of the animated series Baahubali: The Lost Legends which streamed on Amazon Prime Video.

The Baahubali live-action film starred Prabhas (Shiva alias Mahendra Baahubali and Amarendra Baahubali), Rana Daggubati (Bhallala Deva),  Sathyaraj (Kattappa), Anushka Shetty (Maharani Devasena) and Ramya Krishana (Sivagami) in key roles.

Baahubali: Crown of Blood streams on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar starting 17 May. This new spin-off continues the saga of Mahishmati kingdom.
