The new TV spot for Google’s Android OS has been breaking the internet with a collection of short videos showing animals working together to help each other in different situations.
The ad is part of the company’s recent “Be Together. Not the Same” campaign, which debuted along with Android 5.0 Lollipop in October 2014. The campaign was also pushed at CES 2015, not just by Google but by its hardware partners as well.
The ads were an Apple thing previously with the tech company churning out brilliant ads like last year’s ‘Misunderstood’ which won an Emmy for the Best Commercial. Google is now applying this strategy to tell Android users that though they might have different phones, they are part of one big hoping-to-be cult.
Although the ad won’t have long thronging queues outside the stores for Android phones, but it will certainly make inroads for the OS among the users with the cute cuddly animals.
