AI-based keyframe animation software Cascadeur named ‘Product of the Week’, secures MGA Award nomination

After being nominated for Most Promising AI Games Tech at the Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards 2023 (MGA) last week, the AI-based keyframe animation software Cascadeur was named “Product of the Week” on the popular technology platform Producthunt a few days later.

On 11 April, Cascadeur was officially unveiled to the Product Hunt community – and a neck-and-neck race developed between Nekki’s AI animation software and its contenders. In the late evening, the software was able to prevail over the other apps presented there and finally won the Product of the Day award by a narrow margin of votes.

The competition on Producthunt did not really get over after these 24 hours. Over the course of the week, Cascadeur received so much support from Product Hunt users that the new animation software also secured the title of “Product of the Week.”  And the competition remains exciting, as the software is now fighting for the title of “Product of the Month.”

For the Product Hunt launch, a new trailer song has been produced. You can check it out here:

Organised by Pocket Gamer UK, MGA is now in its sixth year. Nekki’s animation software Cascadeur has already been nominated as a finalist in the 2020 Most Promising Games Technology category as a beta version. This year the recently released full version is once again in the running for the coveted MGA award. The software is a finalist in the newly created Most Promising AI Games Tech category, up against strong competition from the likes of ChatGPT and Midjourney.

The development team also received a separate nomination: Nekki is a finalist in the Best Tools Provider category, along with seven other renowned software companies. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on 20 April.
