The Hyderabad film industry is certainly doing well these days and adding more value to the feature films is Advitha Creative Studios, which helps in delivering some of the best VFX shots.
It recently delivered 1200 VFX shots for Telugu feature film Legend. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sonal Chauhan, Radhika Apte, Jagapti Babu in lead roles.
Speaking to AnimationXpress.com Advitha Creative Studios visual effects supervisor Anil Paduri says: “I am really pleased with the outcome of our efforts. We had 22 artists working on this project and managed to execute the shots within just 45 days.”
After Simha this is director Boyapati Srinu’s next big hit. Legend had pre-release earnings of nearly Rs 56.5 crore with distribution, music and satellite rights.
“The most difficult part of the project was to achieve the shots within the stipulated time, as the elections were coming up and the makers wanted to release the movie before it,” expounds Paduri on the difficulty in completing the project.
“We also had a few complicated shots which were a little difficult to execute. During the train sequence fight we were not given permission to shoot a blast sequence on the train track. And then in Dubai we had to recreate a digital car as we could not use industrial vehicles,” he adds.
Advitha Creative Studios achieved the VFX shots seamlessly. In planning stage, the studio started pre-visulization to help the entire crew to recreate the scenes in a virtual format ergo minimising the effort and time to finish a particular shot.
