AnimationXpress proudly continues its role as the official Indian representative for the prestigious DigiCon6 ASIA Awards. Organised by Tokyo Broadcasting System Holdings, Inc. (TBS Japan), the DigiCon6 ASIA Awards is an esteemed digital content competition that celebrates the creativity of talented creators across Asia. The competition invites participation from a diverse range of regions, and regional contests determine the finalists who compete for the GRAND Awards.
The 25th DigiCon6 ASIA Awards saw robust participation from 15 regions, including Iran, India, Indonesia, Korea, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Taiwan, China, Japan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mongolia, and Laos.
Upcoming 26th DigiCon6 ASIA Awards
The 26th DigiCon6 ASIA Awards is now open for entries for short films under 15 minutes in live-action or animation format. Submissions are welcomed from both professional and amateur creators, and all entries will be judged based on a strict set of criteria to ensure fairness. Outstanding entries will receive prestigious awards, and winners will have opportunities for further creative support in video production and publishing.
The awards ceremony for the 26th DigiCon6 ASIA Awards will be held in Autumn 2024 in Tokyo, Japan. Last year, Diya Gambhir’s short film Never Say Die won the Live Action Best Art & Cinematography award, showcasing the remarkable talent emerging from India.
