Shah Rukh Khan’s next venture Fan is creating a lot of buzz. The latest news about the film is that King Khan was spotted shooting in the city of Dubrovnik in Croatia recently. The actor was seen alongside his body double (who didn’t really look like SRK), having similar hair and wearing the same clothes. SRK was seen sporting a red jacket and a head band.
Shah Rukh was seen filming a chase sequence for the movie, directed by Maneesh Sharma, on the streets of the European city. The actor is paired opposite 35-year-old fomer super model Waluscha De Sousa in this film.
The release of ‘Fan’ which was scheduled for 15 August, Independence Day, has been postponed. Yash Raj Films has attributed the delay to ‘never before seen VFX’. Redchillies.VFX’s Harry Hingorani is also on the sets to ensure everything goes off smoothly when the film finally goes into post production.
The actor is playing a dual role in the film – one of a reigning superstar and the other is of his lookalike who is a huge fan of the star. The film has elements of humor, with a series of incidents revolving around mistaken identities creating a comedy of errors. ‘Fan’ will involve tons of visual effects in the post-production stages owing to the double role, and the body double is probably a part of this process.
The film’s shooting started in Delhi earlier this year and has now moved to Europe.
