The second day of Gwangju ACE Fair 2018 (14 September) at the Kimdaejung Convention Center, Gwangju, was also highly successful like its previous day.
The second day of ACE Fair was strictly B2B. Meetings were pre-booked and scheduled a week ago in advance between the buyers and sellers and they were free to conduct walk-in meetings in the second half of the day.
ACE Fair boasts of categories spanning across broadcasting, audio visuals, animation, games, character and merchandise, edutainment and licensing, VR and AR, and much more with majority of companies having a stall out there. These companies varied from small scale merchandise sellers to major television broadcasters such as KBS, SBN.
Last year, an estimated 2,180 meetings took place between company representatives from 38 countries with support from the Fair Secretariat where 20 MOUs and 17 contracts were signed. This year too, the fair had a special room assigned for MOU signing ceremony between companies getting into partnership with each other.
An estimated 9,000 visitors, many of them in family units, attended ACE Festival to experience the market and the diverse events prepared by the festival organiser, the ACE Fair Secretariat. 70 amateur creators participated in the amateur market and 70 companies set up their booth at the event.
The ACE Fair also saw a book festival with all the necessary informations available about the areas, the fair was covering. On the whole, it was an enriching B2B experience for all the visitors and participants.
