The day which all the DC fans were waiting for has finally arrived! Today’s the day when we will witness the crossover episode between Arrow and The Flash on The CW. The annual crossover event with The Flash will once again be a two part episodes “Legends of Today” and “Legends of Yesterday.”
The event will host the heroes of Starling City and Central City uniting to fight against the time-hopping baddie Vandal Savage (played by Casper Crump). Vandal Savage will be playing a big antagonistic role on The CW’s upcoming spinoff series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
The crossover will also uncork “probably the biggest emotional story we’ve ever done on Arrow,” teases director of the series, Greg Berlanti.
In “Legends of Today,” the first hour of the two-night event, Vandal arrives in Central City to attack Kendra, so Cisco (Carlos Valdes) enlists Barry (Gustin) to protect her by taking her to Star City. But Carter Hall has other plans for his long-lost love. Hour two, “Legends of Yesterday,” finds Barry and Oliver (Stephen Amell) hiding Kendra and Carter from Vandal while they search for a way to defeat him.
The crossover will introduce two new characters, Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) and Hawkman (Faulk Hentschel) who will be playing an important role as the villains are tracking them down and the both the teams need to protect them from the evil forces.
The Flash and Arrow are comic-book shows and what’s most fascinating about the crossover this time around is how intertwined it all is by far more than just a Legends of Tomorrow set-up. As for the Legends of Tomorrow, it’s set to premiere on 21 January, 2016 and the trailer has managed to gain our attention with it’s amazing visuals and the superhero team that includes not just heroes but also villains.
