Developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, Dishonored was released in 2012. Now following the excellent success of this stealth action-adventure IP, the makers are all set to roll out a second edition of the game.
The game was announced quite a while back and had fans absolutely thrilled for the second installment of the game. While some of the clips and content were revealed by Bethesda at E3 this year and QuakeCon, people still wanted more.
Till now the videos that were released had a mix of gameplay and cinematic and did not shed much light on what the storyline would be like. It involved a lot of hacking, slashing, stabbing and shooting blood.
Now finally Bethesda has released a gameplay trailer of Dishonored 2 titled “Corvo Gameplay Trailer” however, the two minute trailer has more details imbibed in it. The trailer gives us a glimpse of the storyline of the second edition. It seems like there would be two playable characters, Emily Kaldwin, the princess from the original series and Corvo Attano, the royal protector, who everyone is familiar with. You can choose any one from the two characters at the initial phase of the game and that choice affects the mission and skills you would acquire during the game duration.
The villain in this game would be Brigmore Witch, Delilah Copperspoon, who overthrew Emily and took over the throne. Corvo still retains his supernatural powers and ‘The Outsider’ is also seen in the trailer. There are some updated skills in Corvo’s kit too.
The game is slated for 11 November release over PS4, PC and Xbox One. The PS4 version of Dishonored 2 would also be upgraded with enhanced visuals for PS4 Pro.
