Apart from the ongoing Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles animated series, we will soon get to watch yet another new Justice League series. Cartoon Network recently announced that it’s going to air the DC comics based characters show Justice League Action.
The animation would be taken care by Warner Bros. Animation and lending the voice to the Batman character would be the man who’s been playing Batman since Batman: The Animated Series in 1992, Kevin Conroy. His counterpart since then has been Mark Hamill as the Joker, and he will also make his return for Justice League Action. Joining them would be James Woods as Lex Luthor, Diedrich Bader as Booster Gold and many more whose names are yet to be announced.
From the press release: Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman lead the DC Comics Super Heroes against their most infamous foes in adventures packed with relentless thrills, fun and action. No need to wait for the good stuff to start, each eleven-minute episode jumps in with lightning-paced action and heroics. Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes, are up to any challenge.
The series will feature a different format from previous Justice League shows, with eleven-minute episodes similar to their comedy series Teen Titans Go!. Sam Register serves as executive producer with Butch Lukic (Justice League, Batman Beyond), Alan Burnett (Batman: The Animated Series) and Jim Krieg (Green Lantern: The Animated Series) serving as producers.
The dates for this eleven minute episode format series are yet to be announced.
