The VR game Down and Out’s launch has been delayed due to pending approval from Oculus, the Ahmedabad based game development company Zatun announced in a press statement . The game was scheduled for launch on 9 August for Oculus Rift S, Oculus Quest, and Steam but did not.
“There have been some unforeseen consequences and the game is awaiting approval from the Oculus store, the status is ‘under review.’ Due to the high volume, the procedures have been taking more time than estimated and we at Zatun understand that. Oculus can’t state the ETA right now but we are hoping to get a reply from them soon, we will then decide the next steps,” reads there press statement.
Zatun, a multi-award-winning game development studio announced Down and Out, a VR open-world fighting game with a fresh, new combat system, bringing a much-needed twist to the classic Brawler genre. Down and Out throws players into a brand new world combining the best of classic action games with the immersion of first-person VR.
