Currently available on Android store, AKTR’s Saudi Arabian Game app is designed by Kolkata based animation and gaming studio –Virtualinfocom. Based on the lifestyle of Arabia,this free game app targets people who are fond of adventure games.
Talking to AnimationXpress.com about the basic concept of this
game, Arijit Bhattacharyya, Founder and CEO of Virtualinfocom says, “The smooth story flow of Saudi Arabian Game will surely help players to understand the culture, food habits, outfits and the unique fighting style of the Arabs as well.”
The Saudi Arabian Game comprises of 12 levels in total. The storyline of this game starts with a cut scene where a protagonist who is an Arab tries to pass on an important message to a girl who lives just next door. But her father doesn’t allow any such interaction between the two.
“The story plot is completely in the hands of the player as it is then carried forward with several fight sequences at all levels, including different location setups, which makes the game even more interesting and the players will eventually associate themselves with the protagonist fighting with his enemies.” highlights Arijit.
Deserted Village, City, Beach, Cairo, London are some of the varied locations used in this game to add on to the Arabic adventure trip through this game. Several other props like the Camels, Horses, London buses and cars are also used to touch up on the realistic look and feel for this game.
Sharing about the manner in which the colour textures added a realistic story feel to this game, Arijit says, “We have added light shades of white, green and yellow to specifically bring a perfect mixture of Arabian style and culture to this game.”
Blender was used in the making of Saudi Arabian Game. Before making this game, the team members of Virtualinfocom interacted with Arabic people and studied the lifestyle of Arabs which helped them to design simple Arabic costumes for this game, which was also a challenge at the same time.
Lalkamal Nilkamal, Maharana Pratap are some of the other adventure games that is being designed by Virtualinfocom and will soon be released on various platforms
