A lot of information regarding Tekken 8 has been made public by Bandai Namco, including the announcement of the Closed Alpha Test and new gameplay concepts like the Rage system during the Tekken World Tour Final 2022 event on Sunday.
To obtain input on the battle system, Bandai Namco will run the testing “in chosen locations throughout the world.” EVO Japan 2023, which runs from 31 March to 2 April, will host the first of these. Registration for the Tekken 7 tournament and an application “through a special website to be opened in February” are prerequisites. If there are enough candidates, there will be a giveaway.
Bandai Namco has revealed new character trailer which reveals Nina Williams, a recurring playable character, and gameplay clips of her.
For the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, the game is currently being developed. A release date has not yet been specified by Bandai Namco Entertainment. As playable characters, Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, Jun Kazama, Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, King, Lars Alexandersson, and Jack-8 will all return.
In June 2017, Tekken 7 became available on Steam for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. In August 2022, Netflix released the first episode of the anime series Tekken: Bloodline, which is based on the plot of the Tekken 3 fighting game.
