In the continued expansion of Technicolor Games, Paul Houlders joins as the new VP, global head of art. He will report directly to the president of the games division Andy Emery, and be based between London and Bengaluru.
In this pivotal role, Houlders will act as a mentor and leader to the Technicolor Games’ global creative team, as well as coordinate with the senior leadership team to support in growing the business’ vision.
Described as an industry veteran, Houlders’ career journey has taken him to the forefront of game development. He brings with him over 30-years’ worth of experience in art production and management.
From beginning his career at Sony Psygnosis as lead artist, to holding multiple team management and senior art director positions around the world for electronic arts, he has a wealth of strategic leadership and creative knowledge. Most recently, Houlders was studio director for Sperasoft in Malta. Here, he was responsible for overseeing the operational development of the studio and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality AAA titles for both clients and partners. He cherishes the ability to cultivate creativity, productivity, and passion for the gaming industry, as well as delivering projects far beyond client expectations.
