US-based CyberPowerPC expanded its presence in Asia by recently launching in India with its gaming products – custom and pre-built PCs, rigs, and more. This major move into the Asian market was prompted by India’s promising potential in the gaming industry.

“We believe that the PC gaming ecosystem in India is poised for growth. The esports industry here is booming with more PC titles coming in,” said CyberPowerPC India’s COO Vishal Parekh in an interview with AnimationXpress. Catering to this segment, the company not only has products for casual gamers but has also curated offerings for professional esports athletes who require high-performance systems for competitive play.

Strategic entry into the Indian market

CyberPowerPC’s entry into India is in partnership with Creative Newtech, a company well-versed in navigating the complex Indian market. “For many Indian consumers, purchasing a high-end PC is a significant investment, and it’s crucial to communicate its long-term value proposition and perks to our consumers. Hence, we plan to host educational workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns to showcase the potential of PC gaming and how that can provide an edge in content creation,” explained Parekh.

He further added, “While gamers are well aware of their usage, our intent is not to tell them what they need, and let them choose their build. However, if someone requires assistance in choosing the right PC, our team is well equipped to help them based on what is their key objective to buy an HPPC (High Performance PC). Generally, a combination of processor, GPU and RAM is what we focus on primarily, however, it varies gamer to gamer or creator to creator.”

CyberPowerPC’s unique value proposition

CyberPowerPC prides itself on its ability to deliver customised gaming rigs tailored to the specific needs of each gamer. “Our configurator allows anyone to get real-time checks on specs vs performance. If they’re still unsure, our prebuilt PCs are always a good fit,” Parekh noted. Our more than 25 years of experience alongside our technology, powered by our partner brands, make us a prime choice for gamers.”

Expanding beyond gaming

While gaming remains the primary focus, CyberPowerPC is also targeting non-gaming sectors such as animation, visual effects, post production and content creation as well. “The growth of sectors like content creation and VFX, as well as of original IPs in gaming and animation make India a crucial market for us to contribute to and grow with,” he revealed. “Our high-end offerings are meant to solve problems and bridge the gap between creativity, experience and hardware. These products empower gamers, creators and artists to make the best of their craft.”

Apart from the products already introduced in the Indian market, the company plans to roll out more offerings for consumers in the coming days. “We plan to gradually introduce our best and most suited offerings initially and eventually bring in more products,” he highlighted.

Customer support as top priority

Since its launch in India, the company has focused on providing on-site support, optimising the local experience, and ensuring doorstep service. “In a diverse market like India, customer feedback is critical for us and as part of our philosophy, we take it very seriously. We have multiple plans to ensure a seamless experience for our customers in the country,” he stated.

In conclusion, Parekh expressed the company’s commitment to contribute to the growth of the Indian PC gaming industry. “Our mission is to provide amazing experiences to the Indian gamers. We plan to bring our products and industry expertise to the region which is slated for exponential growth.”

CyberPowerPC’s products are now available in India via its official webstore, with partnerships with leading tech brands such as AMD, Intel, and Microsoft, offering a comprehensive range of hardware for gamers.
