Taiwanese PC and portable computing company MSI celebrated its 20-year anniversary by setting up a hands-on experience at Infiniti Mall in Malad, Mumbai on 21 June. In a move to expand, the company’s products will now be available at the electronics retailer Tata Croma in Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Gujarat and Hyderabad.
The company developed an overclockable gaming laptop in 2007, and introduced a thin and lightweight gaming laptop later in 2013. It further developed a backpack VR PC in 2016 and the gaming handheld MSI Claw recently in 2024. The interactive hands-on event at Infiniti Mall, Malad featured its products such as MSI Titan Laptops, Sword Series Laptops and even the Claw gaming handheld. The event featured games like Cyberpunk 2077, NFS Unbound and Doom Eternal. An exciting aspect of the showcase was the engineering room where players got to check out the company’s laptops, the materials used in the laptops and its auto cooling system that help the devices maintain a stable and high end performance.
MSI regional marketing manager Bruce Lin commented on the occasion by saying, “Our 20th anniversary celebration embodies MSI’s commitment to innovation and our relentless pursuit of delivering exceptional computing experiences. It promises a showcase of MSI’s technological expertise and passion for gaming, creativity, and productivity through a range of engaging activities, from exploring our captivating history wall to experiencing hands-on gaming sessions with the products and witnessing interactive AI demonstrations.”
To build upon the celebration, MSI has rolled out promotions and offers, including a 40 per cent discount on select high end gaming laptops, giveaways and early access to limited edition products and bundle deals on peripherals and accessories.
