SuperGaming has officially launched Indus Battle Royale on the Google Play Store for Android and the App Store for iOS.

The game combines Indian-inspired themes with futuristic gameplay to provide a fresh take on the battle royale genre. The game’s official launch is set to bring a Made-In-India battle royale experience to mobile gamers nationwide.

The open beta phase of Indus attracted countless players to the game, allowing for extensive testing across key regions. The game garnered over 14 million pre-registrations before its official release as claimed.

After installing the game on mobile, players can compete in traditional battle royale modes, including both FPS and TPS perspectives on the map of Virlok. Additionally, the game also offers a Team Deathmatch mode featuring 4v4 and 2v2 matches, with pre-made loadouts and a unique map called Saaplok.

New in-game features debuting in Indus:

Indus debuts two unique gameplay features that set it apart from other battle royale games:

  • Cosmium Clutch: Cosmium Clutch is a unique feature that introduces a dual-win condition in battle royale matches. In addition to the traditional last-person-standing win, the Cosmium —an ultra-rare resource—spawns in the final circle; capturing Cosmium grants your squad an instant victory, but the challenge lies in surviving the chaos as every team scrambles to secure it while battling each other.
  • Grudge: The Grudge system adds a layer of revenge to gameplay. When a player is eliminated, they can declare a grudge against their opponent. In the next match, both players are placed in the same lobby, with the grudge opponent’s approximate location marked on the map. This mechanic gives players the chance to settle the score and seek vengeance in their next encounter.

Nuclear Diwali Battle Pass:

Alongside the game’s official release, it will also feature a Nuclear Diwali Battle Pass, offering two pricing tiers. Players can purchase the premium tier for 200 Indus credits and premium plus tier for 350 Indus credits which grants players 30 levels instantly. By purchasing the battle pass, players can unlock exclusive rewards, including the Legendary Avatar Pokhran, an Epic melee weapon (chappal), and cosmetic skins for both weapons and vehicles.

Esports

In line with the game’s launch, SuperGaming recently revealed Clutch India Movement, its year-long esports roadmap starting with the Indus International Tournament. The tournament boasts a massive prize pool of Rs 2.5 crore which is the largest for any Made in India battle royale game.

Indian and global teams will be competing in a series of four tournament phases with the MVP being awarded with a customised Mahindra Thar. The Indus International Tournament will be followed by another major event, the Indus International Mahasangram in October 2025.

Prior to this, SuperGaming has consistently been showcasing its support to grow the esports ecosystem at the grassroots level with multiple esports tournaments including Grudge Wars, Indus Unchained and Indus Inferno.

Players can now download Indus Battle Royale on the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store.
